Cydonia: Chapter Fifteen: The Pillars of Witness
Cydonia, Ch. 15
Is there a thing of which one might say, See this, it is new. It has already been for the ages which
were before us.
--Ecclesiastes 1:10
Civilizations of angels, "the gods," lived in the solar system in the aions before Adam. The center
of the angelic kingdom was on a large planet near Mars, the 5 from the sun. When the planet
th
Astera/Krypton/Rahab exploded, the blast not only destroyed the angelic civilization on Mars, but also
decimated life on planet earth. At some point after this period of solar system-wide chaos, as Genesis
discloses, God made Adam as a distinct being, keeping him separate and secluded from the rest of the
world in the Garden of Eden. Adam was made from the very dirt of the earth, and Adam's descendents
would retain that connection to the planet, looking forward to a future time when God Himself would
dwell on earth among them.
According to modern initiates of the Gnostic and Masonic mystery schools--whose sphere of
influence extends from NASA to the Pentagon, and across the globe--the ultimate achievement of man
will be when he reaches out far enough from earth to encounter the ruins of that Lost Golden Age
remaining at Cydonia. When worthy men walk on Mars, among the remains of the city of the gods, it will
be the completion of the enterprise undertaken during the last suntelia, the Tower of Babel. The Cydonian
monuments have survived bombardment with pieces of the exploded planet Rahab, and weathered
millennia, declaring that Mars is the red Philosopher's Stone, which passed through the fire.
Individually the Hebrew letters which spell Rahab are: r Resh, Head, Prince or Chief, h He,
Word, Revelation and Spirit, b Beth, House or temple. Job 26:12:
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth Rahab. You were the
anointed cherub that covers, and I had put you in the holy height of God. (Ezekiel 28)
Satan, the greatest of God's angels, "sealed the measure" of perfection and beauty of all creation,
choosing to display himself as an "angel of light." The cherub who became Satan was a created being,
made to reflect the Word of God, the power that had created the material universe and all the intelligent
beings in it. Job 15:15 describes God's assessment of the angels and their dwelling places, after they
rebelled:
Behold, He puts no trust in His holy ones, and the heavens are not clean in His eyes.
When Satan and his angels rebelled, God destroyed their dwelling places, literal cities built on
several planets in this solar system.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick;
therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to
ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. Ezekiel 28:18
God brought a fire from the midst of the fifth terrestrial planet. This planet, which God called
Rahab, was shattered.
Is not my Word like a fire? says the Lord; and like a hammer that breaks the lofty rock in pieces? Jer.
23:29
According to the book of Enoch, after Satan's kingdoms were destroyed, many of the rebellious
angels were bound and held until the Day of Judgment on the earth. Other factions of the rebel angels
continued to exist in relative freedom, retaining their ability to travel through the atmosphere of the earth,
and among the planets. They are the "principalities and powers" in high places, described by Paul. These
angels have authority to deceive and lie, yet continue their existence only within the boundaries set by
God; they still are under subjection to him:
God will not withdraw His anger; the helpers of Rahab crouch under Him. (Job 9:13)
Rule and fear are with Him. He makes peace in His high places. Is there any number of His armies?
(Job 25:1-3)
The angels prior to their rebellion built the monumental sphinx face of Cydonia. Perhaps one of the
most important discoveries concerning the meaning of the face was made by Richard Hoagland in his
book The Monuments of Mars.
If the face was a constructed object, and if its purpose was to mark the position of the Summer
Solstice for someone standing in the City, and if the "sightline" was that perfectly straight "mouth"
running north-east/ southwest--and aimed directly toward the city square--then that sightline would
have to be oriented at a 90 degree angle to the line marking the bisymmetrical centerline of the face
itself. Sometime in the cavernous, yawning geologic past of this extraordinary planet--a world that
had held center stage on Man's attention as the one place in all the solar system where there might be
other "Life"--if one of those hypothetical "Martians" had stood in the center of "my" City, in the city
square- they would have seen the earth rise brilliant in the Dawn. And, a few moments afterward, the
sun itself would have "magically" appeared… Rising directly out of the "mouth" of the god--like
figure in the Martian desert--if it even was a "desert," then… For the last time this alignment would
[1038]
have worked was half a million years ago.
What Hoagland described as a celestial benchmark for measuring the age of the Cydonian face was
actually the key to the purpose of this monument in the pre-rebellion city of angels on Mars. G.H. Pember
wrote of the angelic cities in the aions before Adam:
In remote ages, before the first whisper of rebellion against God, Satan, as the great governing head
and the viceroy of the Almighty, assisted by glorious beings of his own nature, ruled over sinless
dwellers of the heavenly places. At the same time he directed the worship of his subjects, and
[1039]
expounded to them the oracles of the all-wise Creator.
The face on Mars was a depiction of a cherubim, intended as a celestial message and an "oracle."
Angels called cherubim were depicted in art as a combination of at least two of four animals: a lion, bull,
or eagle with the head of a human. These forms correspond not only to the signs of the zodiac, but to the
four brightest stars in the zodiac: Fomalhaut, in Aquarius (man), Regulus, in Leo (lion), Anteres, in
Opheocus (serpent holder, or eagle), and Aldeberan in Taurus (the bull). All four of these stars are
arranged three signs apart, in the four corners of the heavens. The word kerubim means "one who
intercedes" between the earth and the heavens. The two-faced Cydonian sphinx embodied the celestial
message of God's witness in the stars, and His plan through the ages. A similar architectural design
incorporating dualistic sphinx-kerubim appeared, amazingly, in Ezekiel's description of the future temple
to God in Jerusalem:
And it, (the walls of the temple) was made with cherubs and palm trees; and a palm tree was
between cherub and cherub. And two faces were to a cherub, the face of a man from the palm tree
from here, and a young lion's face toward the palm tree from there. It was made to all the house
round and round. (Ezekiel 41:18-19)
At the time when Mars was a hospitable planet, the angels who dwelt there enjoyed the significance
imbued in their physical components, as reflections of the Creator. The very makeup of the cherubim was
such that they were compelled to render their surroundings--architecture and art--with the same meaning
and design that they themselves possessed. The angels were made to reflect the Word of God that spoke
creation into being. The angels built the Cydonian sphinx to symbolize the power of God's Word. The
sunrise from the mouth of the face on the Martian solstice, the day of the greatest duration of light, was the
physical representation of Genesis 1:3:
And God said, let there be light, and there was light.
The rising of the earth followed by the sun from the "mouth" of the face commemorated the creation,
when God spoke the worlds into existence:
By the Word of the Lord the heavens were made. (Psalm. 33:6)
The worlds were framed by the Word of God. (Heb. 11:3)
The angels were overjoyed by the physical creation that God had made. God questioned Job from
the whirlwind:
Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? … or who cast it's corner stone, when the
morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:4-7)
An oracle of the future having to do with the plan for creation, and specifically the earth, mystified
and obsessed the angels from the begining. From Mars the blue earth appeared brighter in the sky than any
star or planet except Jupiter--brighter than Venus appears from the earth. On the morning of the Martian
summer solstice, the longest day of the Martian year, the earth appeared to rise from the mouth of the face
on Cydonia before the sun, symbolizing "the light of God shall dawn on earth."
The Apostle Paul explained that God's plan for humans was intended as a demonstration to
"powers in heavenly places"--to the angels who are watching the earth:
…(God has) made known unto me the mystery; Which in other ages was not made known unto the
sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit… which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ …To the intent
that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the called out
ones the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ
Jesus our Lord. (Eph 3:11)
The earth is the world where the Word of God, the Creator of everything would become a human
being. According to Hoagland, the face and the edge of the Cydonian city seem to have at one time been
[1040]
bordered by a shallow inland sea. This would have resulted in a reflection of the face in profile
when viewed from afar. Again this conveys an intriguing echoed symbolism: God reigns both in heaven
and on the planets. The plan for humans on earth was in existence before God had even created Adam in
His own image. The Roman philosopher Cicero believed "the created reflected the creator":
For the divine form we have the hints of nature supplemented by the teachings of reason. All men of
all races naturally derive the notion of gods as having human shape and none other; for in what other
shape do they ever appear to anyone, awake or asleep? But not to make primary concepts the sole
test of all things, reason itself delivers the same pronouncement. For it seems appropriate that the
being who is the most exalted, whether by reason of his happiness or of his immortality, should also
be the most beautiful; but what disposition of the limbs, what cast of features, what shape or outline
can be more beautiful than the human form? You Stoics, at least, Lucilius, (for my friend Cotta says
one thing at one time and another at another) habitually portray the skill of the divine creator by
enlarging on the beauty as well as the utility of design displayed in all parts of the human figure. But
if the human figure surpasses the form of all other living beings, and a god is a living being, then a
god must possess the shape which is the most beautiful of all; and since it is agreed that the gods are
supremely happy, and no one can be happy without virtue, and virtue cannot exist without reason,
and reason is only found in the human shape, it follows that the gods possess the form of man. Yet
their form is not corporeal, but only resembles bodily substance; it does not contain blood, but the
[1041]
semblance of blood. (Cicero, 106-45 BC)
Due to popular misconceptions propounded by organized religion in the past two millennia, there
are many who consider ridiculous the idea that Satan has ever existed in a literal physical realm. Some
people believe in a concept of "evil" that has been embodied in folklore in a being conveniently called
"the devil." Others hold onto the non-threatening tenet that if Satan does exist at all, he is cordoned off
from mankind, deep in the region of hell. The monuments of Cydonia were built by literal physical beings;
the divine truths disclosed by the Martian sphinx attest to their angelic origin. Satan, however, will distort
the meaning of the monuments on Mars that were originally intended to give glory to God, and use them
instead to blaspheme God and lead humans astray.
The geometric relationship of the monuments reveals other corroborating evidence of an angelic
message reflecting a cosmic plan. The arrangement of the monuments, when viewed from space--as the
probes from earth first encountered and photographed them--are situated so that the 5-sided pentagonal
pyramid directs the line of sight towards the face. While the initiates of the mystery school of Pythagoras
would understand the pentagon on Mars to have numerological meaning, there is a system of Biblical
Numerics by which the monumental relationships can be decoded as well. The D&M Pyramid of Cydonia
has five sides, which cover a metaphoric "sixth side" underneath--the number "5" typifies "Grace"
covering the number "6" typifying man's sinful nature. The message of the Martian pyramid interpreted
[1042]
according to Bible numerics is that of Atonement , grace covers sin. To the north of the Martian
Pentagon, sits the city complex, comprised of 12 giant pyramids--four central structures of classic
pyramidal shape surrounded by 5 larger various shaped pyramid-like edifaces. Biblical numerics applied
to the city complex shows again the number 5, grace, surrounding 4, the number of creation.
The word translated as "pillar" in the King James Old Testament comes from the word matstsebah,
meaning "monument." The following passage describes the purpose of such monuments--to provide a
witness to the future.
And Jacob took a stone, and set it up [for] a pillar (matstsebah). And Jacob said unto his brethren,
Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap: and they did eat there upon the heap. And
Laban called it Jegarsahadutha (heap of stones): but Jacob called it Galeed (witness heap). And
Laban said, This heap [is] a witness between me and thee this day. Therefore was the name of it
called Galeed; And Mizpah (watch tower); for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee,
when we are absent one from another. (Gen 31:45-47)
In that day shall there be an altar (mizbeach) to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a
pillar (matstsebah) at the border thereof to the LORD. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness
unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt. (Isaiah 19:19-20)
Pyramidologists have long been fascinated with the prophecy of Isaiah 19 that described a
Matstsebah in the land of Egypt. Bible scholars have pointed out that Isaiah 19:19 seems to describe two
structures--a pillar and an altar--but pyramidologists argue that the Giza pyramid fulfills both. The Great
Pyramid sits on the border between upper and lower Egypt, and the name Giza actually means "border."
The phrases, "in the midst" and "at the border of" describe the only structure known to exist in both
places at once, the Great Pyramid of Giza. It has been pointed out by numericists that the sum of the
Hebrew letters (which are also numbers) comprising the "Pyramid Text" of Isaiah 19:19 actually equal
the height of the Great Pyramid in inches. The standard for the inches used for this calculation is
[1043]
embossed within the Great Pyramid itself.
The Hebrew for Egypt is Matsrayim meaning, "Place of Mounds." The modern name Egypt
originated from the word Aiguptios a Greek transliteration of the ancient name of the capital of Egypt
[1044]
Hikuptah meaning, "the house of the spirit of Ptah." Hikuptah is now the city called Memphis.
Ptah was the god of the Ta-tenen, the primordial mound, the "Island from the Dawn of Time" also
called the "Rising Land" or "The First Land." Ptah was also the patron of architecture and stonemasonry.
The transit, an indespensible tool of masons, was one of Ptah's symbols. Ptah's High Priest was deemed a
"Master Builder," and it was Ptah who crafted the boats that the dead used to travel the great ocean to the
Duat. Due to these atributes, the Greeks associated Ptah with Hephaestos, the craftsman god who had
[1045]
fallen to earth. Ptah and the other gods were called, in Egyptian, Ntr "Guardians" or
[1046]
"Watchers."
The Edfu Texts had described the significance of the "mounds" of the divine builder gods--the
rebel angels. The correct building of mounds according to the template disclosed by the builder gods
would bring about a "resurrection of the destroyed world of the gods." The destroyed world--which
included Mars and the parent planet Rahab--was referred to as the "Homeland of the Primeval Ones,"
where the "earliest mansions of the gods were founded." This idea is both accurate and profane. The
mounds of earth and Mars preserved geometric and symbolic knowledge demarcating the end of the
Aions, and forwarning impending judgment. The building of monumental mounds--by both humans and
angels--was initially intended to worship God the Creator, Who has declared the ending from the very
beginning of His creation.
I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I
shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. (Isaiah 48:3)
Remember the former things of old; for I am God and there is none else; I am God, and there is none
like me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from the ancient times the things that are not yet
done, saying my counsel shall stand, and I will do my pleasure. (Isaiah 46:9-10)
Both the pentagonal pyramid and the giant hill or tholus on Cydonia were built to the exact
instructions God gave to Moses while on Mount Sinai.
An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me… in all places where I record my name I will come unto
thee, and I will bless thee. (Exodus 20:24)
The rebel angels continued to build the same structures before and after the deluge. The huge
architectural ruins on Mars have counterparts on planet earth. Monuments built by the fallen builder gods,
the rebel angels, are stamped with the geometric mark of heavenly wisdom. This divine knowledge once
employed in giving glory to the Creator, was, after the rebellion, twisted by the satanic cherub's pride and
used to focus on his counterfeit glorious aspirations. Satan said:
I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the
mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14.)
