Approach

The Gate of Wanting

Keynote

That all things are interrelated is apparent and manifested through the action of approach.

Collective Perspective

A need to access basic resources through successful interactions with others so that one’s material and emotional needs for food, shelter and protection of territory are met. Looking for those who share one’s principles to strike a bargain, bond and interact with in specific and regulated ways, thus creating the foundation for a functioning community. One is particularly sensitive and aware of these needs in oneself and others and has to balance one’s own neediness, which can be accentuated, with those of the tribe or larger community.

Personal Perspective

Your material and emotional needs require that you engage with others and successfully interact with those within your communal group. You need to ensure that basic needs such as food, shelter, and protection of territory are met, for your own good as well as for others’. You are looking for the right principles, or those who share your principles to strike a bargain with others. We need access to basic resources and therefore need to interact and bond with others in specific and regulated ways, which lies at the foundation of our communities, meaning it needs the support of each so the community functions. You are particularly sensitive to and aware of these needs within yourself and others. Keep in mind there needs to be a balance between one's own neediness (which can be accentuated with this gate) and balancing this with the needs of your close (tribal) or larger community.
