Nourishment
The Gate of Caring
Keynote
The enhancement of the quality and the substance of all activities through caring.
Collective Perspective
Innate compassion for, and the instinct to protect and nourish, those who need guidance, care and support. This applies as much to one’s own family as to the extended family of community.
Without Gate 50, one may lack instinctual awareness to set natural boundaries or limits on where to place one’s attention—being guided by Inner Authority as to who or what to care for prevents overextension and losing sight of one’s own needs.
Personal Perspective
You have an instinctual need to care for others as you feel compassion for those who need guidance, care and support. This applies as much to your own family as to the extended family of the community around you.
Your innate sense is to protect and nourish, but you need to wait for your sacral to respond to who or what to care for, as you can easily overextend and lose sight of your own needs. Without gate 50 at the other end, which determines our values and limits where we direct our attention to nourish and care, here we simply have the impulse to care without a natural sense for boundaries.
